Get to Know
Apple's Find My Network

Works with Apple Find My
Explained
The Work with the Apple Find My program allows third-party products to use Apple's Find My network's private and secure finding capabilities.
The program opens up the global Find My network to MFI* certified third-party manufacturers to build products to use the Find My app to locate and keep track.
There is a "Works with Apple Find My" badge on websites or product packaging to identify the certified products or accessories.
Proudly, SkyRC is one of the certified manufacturers!
*Made for iPhone (MFi) is a program curated by Apple to allow third party manufacturers and developers to make authorized Accessories for Apple devices such as iPhone, iPod Touch, and Apple Watch. In exchange for such program, Apple will allow the manufacturers to use the appropriate labels, sell them through both physical and online store. To apply for the program, Apple will scrutinize the company and the product for certification.

with Lost Mode
LocusTag can be put into Lost Mode, just like other Apple devices. When Lost Mode is on, you have options to enter a phone number or email address and a short message or enable notifications. Apple marks the LocusTag as lost, and its system starts looking for it.
If the owners enable notifications, they will receive an alert that the LocusTag was located, and the location can be viewed on a map.
If someone with an iPhone, they can view a notification. If you entered a phone number or message when you set up Lost Mode, they would see the message on their phone.
Privacy is all yours.
Only the owner can see where your LocusTag is. The tags never store location data and history, including the Apple devices that relay the location of your tag also stay anonymous, and that location data is encrypted throughout.
Please feel assured that even Apple and we don't know the tag's location or identity.
Free Android app lets users detect Find My tag
LocusTag, AirPods, and other Find My network accessories include features to guard against unwanted tracking. They should not be used to track people and should not be used to track property that does not belong to you.
You'll get notified when any Find My network accessory, including LocusTag is separated from its owner and is seen moving with you over time. These features were created specifically to discourage people from trying to track you without your knowledge.
Apple even tailored the Tracker Detect for Android devices to detect such tags.

Super-fast setup
If you've ever set up a pair of AirPods, you're already a Pro at setting up a LocusTag. If you haven't, don't stress -- it's incredibly simple.
After unboxing, pull out the tab to power on the tag.
Unlock your iPhone and place the tag a couple of inches away from the phone. Tap Add Other Item, signaling a new LocusTag nearby, and the Find My app, which comes preinstalled since iOS 9, will walk you through the rest of the setup.
Long Battery Life
LocusTag comes with a replaceable CR2032 battery, which is supposed to keep it going for more than one year.
Unlike the conventional GPS tracker, which would rapidly drain its battery and raise privacy questions, the tag sends scrambled Bluetooth signals to the massive Find My Network once in a while.
iPhone will prompt you with an alert when the power is too low.
Small and Sleek
Only weighing 0.39 ounces (11 grams), the LocusTag is small and sleek. Unlike AirTag, with a hole, LocusTag doesn't need additional accessories to attach to an everyday item, like a keychain or a backpack.
Hi Siri,
where is my Keychain!
No extra setup is required to introduce Siri to your LocusTag. Just connect the tag to your iPhone in Apple's Find My app; now, your tag is Siri-ready.
Owners can always ask Siri to find their item, and LocusTag will play a sound if it is nearby.
